Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates è il nuovo gioco ispirato al famoso anime e manga sviluppato da Spike Chunsoft in esclusiva per Nintendo 3DS. Nelle ultime ore gli sviluppatori hanno parlato della Modalità Storia e della Modalità World presenti all’interno di questo titolo:
■ Story Mode
“Story Mode” uses plenty of scene images, video, and music from the second season of the Attack on Titan television anime. Relive its story through the game.
“Future Coordinates Chapter”
Whether its Eren, Levi, Mikasa, Sasha, and so on, the playable character changes for each mission based on the development of the story. The number of characters from the original work that participate this time has increased in comparison to the first game, allowing players to enjoy fighting alongside familiar characters.
“Reiner, Annie, and Bertholdt Chapter” / “Ymir and Christa Chapter”
The stories of those whose actions are based on hidden intentions. By preparing scenarios from various perspectives, the variation of gameplay has also increased from the previous game. There are also missions where you control a titan and fight against soldiers that use the 3D Maneuver Gear.
■ World Mode
“World Mode,” in which you create an original character and take on various missions, has numerous new features. You can put together your own army, freely construct your own base through the craft feature, and take on missions to protect the base you built from approaching titans.
Hiring Army Members and Appointing Positions
By hiring new soldiers for your army, you can expand your army’s strength. Your army’s level will increase each time the “Army Strength,” which is the sum total of your soldiers’ “Individual Strengths,” reaches a certain amount. When this happens, the maximum number of structures that can be placed in your base, as well as the maximum number of soldiers you can hire, will increase. By appointing soldiers whose loyalty level has maxed out through methods such as taking them out on missions, you will receive a bonus that affects the entire army.
Base Crafting
At your base, you can construct various facilities and barriers to prepare for a titan attack. In addition to defense facilities, various other facilities that affect your army are also being prepared, including soldier dormitories (increases the maximum number of soldiers you can hire) and fields (increases the amount of food you obtain).
Base Missions
New missions during which you protect your base headquarters from a titan attack. Build various barriers and keep the titans from advancing.
