Durante i PlayStation Awards 2016 è stato premiato Dragon Quest Heroes II, secondo capitolo della serie musou spin-off di Dragon Quest che di recente è stato annunciato anche in Europa per il 28 aprile 2017 in esclusiva PlayStation 4.
Tomohiko Sho, game director di Koei Tecmo, ha parlato del futuro di questa serie affermando che potremmo assistere presto o tardi all’annuncio di Dragon Quest Heroes III.
Tomohiko Sho (Director): “I think we were able to get this result by having fun making the game, including development. (While sending a look to Square Enix producer Ryota Aomi) From here on as well… I accidentally said “from here on” but… well… it’s best if I didn’t say. ”
Ryota Aomi (Producer): “What, I’m going to make you stop saying such meaningful things!”
Naturalmente siamo ancora nel campo delle ipotesi e non sarebbe da sottovalutare un possibile annuncio di Dragon Quest Heroes III anche prima della release europea del secondo capitolo viste anche le vendite molto positive della serie.
