Star Wars Battlefront ha fatto da completo mattatore all’assegnazione dei Gamescom Awards 2015. Il gioco sviluppato da DICE, infatti, ha portato a casa ben 5 premi tra cui quello di best of gamescom.Gli unici due giochi che hanno potuto minimamente provare a raggiungerlo stati Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain e Super Mario Maker con due premi a testa.
