We know you want to get an invitation to the Closed Beta as soon as possible. Here is what you can expect.

PLAYER INVITATIONS
We intend to start inviting players who have signed up for the MTG Arena Closed Beta without priority access at some point in January. The exact timing will depend on our development progress, but we’ll get you in the game as soon as we can.

WHAT’S IN THE CLOSED BETA
The Closed Beta will start small, with features and content added as we go. One of the key things we hope to get out of the Closed Beta is player feedback. We’ll be looking for your feedback on:
– Constructed Matches. Single game matches will be available from the start, to get players through a lot of games of Magic. Build your decks and battle against others.
– Ixalan Cards. All cards from the Ixalan set will be in the game from the start. Cards from other Standard-legal sets will be added later.
– In-Game Economy. Later in the Closed Beta, we’ll start to add our ideas on how you could earn cards and rewards. This is something we’ll refine with your feedback.
– Draft. This game mode won’t be available at the start of the Closed Beta, but it will be added later.
– And More! There’s plenty more to test during the Closed Beta, some of which we’re not ready to talk about and some of which will come out of your feedback.

SERIOUSLY, THANKS!
The response we’ve gotten from players has been incredible. The amount of people who want to get into MTG Arena early, give us feedback, and help shape Magic’s future is amazing, so again, thank you!

We know to get things right, we need to build this game in front of you. So, keep telling us what we’re doing right and what we’re doing wrong. We are a bunch of passionate gamers and we are listening.
