Monster Hunter X ha finalmente fatto il suo debutto ufficiale in Giappone. Il gioco targato Capcom, infatti, è stato reso disponibile sia su Nintendo 3DS che New 3DS ed è stato realizzato un confronto, anche in video, per i tempi di caricamento tra le due versioni della portatile della grande N.
