Xbox One – Retrocompatibilità con The Orange Box, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 e Portal con miglioramento di Xbox One X

Microsoft ha annunciato ufficialmente che ben quattro titoli Xbox 360 non solo saranno retrocompatibili su Xbox One ma, inoltre, riceveranno un trattamento di rinnovamento grafico per Xbox One X.

Questi giochi non sono altro che i più famosi titoli di Valve, ovvero The Orange Box (che comprende Half-Life 2 con le sue due espansioni, Team Fortress 2 e Portal), Left 4 DeadLeft 4 Dead 2 e, infine, anche la versione stand alone di Portal.

Xbox 360 games enhanced for Xbox One X run at a higher resolution and 9X the original pixel count. The power of Xbox One X enables the Xbox 360 emulator to showcase the very best version possible with the existing assets—all without touching the game code. The Orange Box is a special collection of “five games in one box,” first available in winter 2007 for PC and Xbox 360. The five games included in The Orange Box are:
